These are membership lists, not rankings — the named groups applicants and scholarship panels actually use as shorthand. Field-specific shortlists live inside each subject guide's programme map, where they can be backed by verified data.

Russell Group (UK)
The UK's 24 research-intensive universities; most Chevening and Commonwealth placements land here.
Ivy League (US)
The eight US privates the label actually covers — note that MIT and Stanford are not members.
Group of Eight (Australia)
Australia's research-intensive eight; the default Australia Awards destinations.
C9 League (China)
China's nine founding elite universities; CSC and Schwarzman territory.
U15 (Canada)
Canada's research-intensive association; the Vanier pipeline.
Opinion-style rankings ("best universities for X") publish here only once we hold a verified ranking snapshot — we list less on purpose.
